Job summary

London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine is seeking a Research Fellow (Trial Manager) to oversee the day-to-day operational management of ADVANCING-CM, a multicentre Phase IIb-III trial in Botswana, Malawi, South Africa and Uganda. The post is based full-time at the coordinating centre in Gaborone with travels to sites.

The successful candidate will hold a postgraduate degree (PhD preferred), with substantial experience in multicentre phase III CTIMPs, trial setup, monitoring and regulatory

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in a relevant topic; doctoral degree preferred.
• Experience in multicentre phase III clinical trials (CTIMPs).
• Experience with trial set-up, site initiation, ongoing monitoring and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operational management of multicentre trial sites.
• Oversee trial set-up, regulatory/ethics processes, site initiation and monitoring.
• Ensure data quality, safety reporting and adherence to protocol and GCP.
