Job summary

BP plc is seeking a Trading Operations Co-Ordinator to ensure accurate handling of legal documents for cargo movements and coordinate with international teams. You will support global trade activities, maintain trackers, and ensure compliance with contractual and legal obligations.

The role requires experience with trade documentation, LC processes, and a proactive, fast-paced approach within a hybrid UK-based team. Collaboration with Legal and Structured Trade Finance is expected.

Qualifications

  • Experience administering trade, shipping, logistics or export/import documentation.
  • Experience with Letters of Credit and trade finance or documentary compliance.
  • Intermediate Excel skills for trackers and records.
  • Experience in a high-volume, deadline-driven operational environment.
  • Experience maintaining audit trails within regulated environments.
  • Proactive and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the smooth execution of global trade activities by managing and coordinating key shipping and commercial documentation.
  • Prepare and issue trade-related documentation, including invoices and other records for international transactions.
  • Maintain accurate operational trackers and records to support reporting, compliance and controls.
  • Review and validate documentation to meet contractual, legal and financing requirements; follow up on discrepancies.
  • Coordinate timely exchange of documents with counterparties, banks and providers worldwide to meet deadlines.
  • Monitor product origin and shipment records to support regulatory and customer requirements.
