Job summary

HH Global Group is seeking a strategic head of global trade compliance based in the UK. You will own the end-to-end global trade compliance operating model, ensuring cross-border transactions are compliant, auditable and regulator-ready across HH Global entities worldwide.

You will design, govern and continually improve processes for regulatory alignment, provide governance across titles, Incoterms, licenses and documentation, and lead cross-functional teams to mitigate risk and drive continuous

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in trade compliance, customs compliance, or cross-border regulatory operations.
• Experience governing global trade compliance processes across countries and regions.
• Strong knowledge of Incoterms, title transfer, and customs documentation.
• Ability to lead cross-functional change across Freight, Logistics, Finance, Tax and Legal.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is required; Black Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the global trade compliance framework for compliant cross-border execution across HH Global regions.
• Translate regulatory requirements into global standards, process gates and evidence for audit readiness.
• Establish and maintain a global compliance schedule for permits, licenses and broker credentials.
• Lead process design and continuous improvement for cross-border workflows using Lean Six Sigma tools.
• Create standard work, checklists and stop-ship gates to prevent non-compliant transactions.
• Build cross-functional governance through a trade compliance council and training.
