Job summary

Travel Trade Recruitment seeks a Senior Tour Developer to join a growing Product team. You will create distinctive escorted tours and cruise-and-tour packages from concept to launch, negotiating with overseas suppliers and delivering high-quality holiday products.

You will own the development of itineraries, research new destinations, and collaborate with suppliers to secure exclusive experiences, while maintaining cost efficiency and strong margins.

Qualifications

• Experience in tour development, escorted touring or cruise-and-tour product creation.
• Strong international destination knowledge and itinerary skills.
• Confident supplier negotiator with commercial awareness.
• Proficient in costing, pricing, budgeting and margin management.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects.
• Creative, proactive and passionate about standout holidays.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative escorted tours and cruise-and-tour itineraries.
• Research new destinations, trends and unique customer experiences.
• Build strong relationships with international suppliers, DMCs, hotels and cruise lines.
• Negotiate competitive rates, exclusive experiences and added-value inclusions.
• Manage product costing, pricing, budgets and profit margins.
• Coordinate product delivery, ensuring accuracy, quality and deadlines are met.
• Work with Marketing to develop engaging product content and key selling points.
• Review sales performance and customer feedback to improve existing products.
• Support and train the sales team on new and existing products.
