Job summary

The Economist Group is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to lead our technology procurement and supplier landscape. You will be responsible for a multi-million pound technology spend and will partner with Technology teams and senior stakeholders to secure maximum value through strategic sourcing, vendor management and robust contracting.

Qualifications

• At least five years’ experience across procurement, technology sourcing and vendor management.
• Experience leading global sourcing activity with measurable commercial benefits.
• Strong knowledge of technology categories, markets and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing and vendor management across technology categories.
• Identify requirements, go-to-market and negotiate contracts.
• Develop technology sourcing and category strategies with stakeholders.
• Build relationships with Technology and other stakeholders to influence decisions.
