Job summary

Wabtec is seeking a Teamcenter Functional Administrator to support UK engineering teams and collaborate with global PLM teams across Europe and beyond. You will help migrate from Windchill and Smarteam to Teamcenter, standardise data, and improve CAD integration across multiple sites.

You will manage data integrity, support daily PLM operations, and help implement global practices while occasionally travelling to the US. This role is essential to maintaining reliable, efficient PLM services.

Qualifications

• Experience in Teamcenter functional support and administration roles.
• Understanding of BMIDE concepts, workflows, datasets, and lifecycle states.
• Ability to troubleshoot NX, Creo, or SolidWorks assemblies.
• Knowledge of EBOM and CadBOM structures.
• Experience supporting engineering teams in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily PLM support to UK and US engineering teams.
• Create and maintain Teamcenter queries; troubleshoot user issues; manage access rights.
• Open and validate CAD models in NX, SolidWorks, and Creo to identify missing references.
• Clean and standardize legacy data as part of multi-site migrations.
• Support workflows, unblock processes, and fix lifecycle inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with global PLM architects, CAD admins, and data migration teams.
• Develop and maintain user documentation and training materials.
• Participate in continuous improvement of PLM tools and processes.
