Job summary

Twinings in Andover is seeking a Global Research and Innovation Lead to define and drive the tea science and technology program across two priority platforms. The role holds high visibility and influence on innovation, technology strategy and growth.

You will manage a global cross-functional team, partner with Master Blenders and the Tea Supply Chain, and shape a future-proof technology roadmap while ensuring quality and food safety across NPD. A digital-first mindset is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Degree in food science, chemical engineering or relevant scientific subject.
• Proven experience in strategy development and implementation.
• Experience translating consumer needs into in-market product innovations.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the global tea science and technology program across priority platforms.
• Set up ways of working with cross-functional teams and external partners to drive innovations for wellbeing.
• Partner with Master Blenders and Tea Supply Chain to implement a technology roadmap.
• Ensure quality and food safety across NPD and foster a digital-first mindset.
