Job summary

Pure Search is seeking an experienced tax professional to join its EMEA tax team, supporting a global portfolio across the UK and Europe. You will own a range of corporate and international tax matters, blending advisory work with compliance, reporting and risk management in a multinational environment.

You will report to regional leadership and collaborate with finance, treasury, legal and external advisers.

Qualifications

• Significant UK corporate tax experience within a leading professional services firm or multinational in-house tax function.
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CA or CTA is required.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial or tax systems are expected.
• Exposure to automation, data analytics or reporting tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical and commercially focused advice on UK and international tax matters.
• Manage corporate tax compliance and reporting obligations, including tax computations, returns and tax accounting.
• Support financing and treasury activities, including loan relationships and derivative contracts.
• Advise on corporate transactions, restructurings, distributions and legal entity simplification projects.
• Assess and manage tax risks, ensuring governance and documentation.
• Lead and support tax audits, enquiries and controversy matters.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external advisers.
• Monitor Pillar Two developments and support implementation initiatives.
• Drive process improvement, automation and data/technology use in tax.
