Park Street People Ltd is recruiting for a Tax Manager on behalf of a global pharmaceutical company in Chester. This is a full-time, 12-month temporary role offering 35 hours per week.

You will lead European tax compliance and strategy, manage audits, and advise on cross-border transactions and M&A. A professional tax qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and international tax experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification ACA/ACCA/CIMA with post-qualification tax experience.
• Experience in international tax, transfer pricing and cross-border transactions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management at senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead European tax compliance, including corporate tax returns across multiple entities.
• Oversee tax audits and liaise with tax authorities to resolve queries efficiently.
• Provide strategic tax advice on business decisions, M&A activities and cross-border transactions.
• Collaborate with senior finance leaders to optimise the company's global tax position.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax regulations, ensuring compliance and responsiveness.
