Job summary

Michael Bailey Associates GmbH seeks an Associate Tax Director to lead international tax audit, planning and project work across multiple jurisdictions. The role involves directing tax planning, restructuring, and compliance programs with a focus on risk management and efficiency.

The candidate should have extensive UK and international tax experience, strong leadership capabilities, and a track record in managing complex tax projects and audits. A CPA/CTA or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Tax experience – ideally UK oriented
• 10+ years of relevant work experience in income taxes

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage tax planning activities and projects across multiple countries
• Advising on mergers and acquisitions activities
• Manage tax audits and litigations across jurisdictions
• Oversee corporate tax compliance programs and relationships with tax authorities
• Coordinate with other senior directors to streamline international tax processes
• Drive process improvements and automation using digital tools
