Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Tax Manager to lead our international tax accounting function, reporting to the Director of International Tax. You will collaborate with Treasury, Legal, Finance and Accounting, guiding the worldwide tax provisions and related compliance from Krakow through to our global operations.

The role requires a CPA/MST, 6+ years in corporate tax, and deep ASC 740/SEC knowledge. Experience with Oracle and OneSource Tax Provision is essential.

Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant and/or MST required.
• Minimum 6 years corporate tax experience in Big 4 or in-house tax departments.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP ASC 740 and SEC regulations.
• Experience managing international income tax provisions.
• Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication with all levels.
• Experience with Oracle and OneSource Tax Provision or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the international tax accounting function, including quarterly and year-end worldwide consolidated tax provisions (ASC740).
• Oversee Pillar Two top-up tax and GloBE income calculations.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of complex income tax accounting concepts (purchase accounting, valuation allowances, UTPs, deferred taxes).
• Collaborate with Treasury, Legal, Finance and Accounting to ensure timely tax provisions.
• Oversee preparation of international statutory tax provisions.
• Monitor tax regulatory developments and assess impacts on the company.
• Ensure tax internal controls and SOX compliance.
