Job summary

Arts Council England in Manchester is seeking an Officer, Global Talent Visas to manage the end-to-end operation of the Global Talent Visa and Exceptional Promise schemes. The role requires accurate eligibility checks and timely decisions communicated clearly to applicants.

You will collaborate with the International team, update policy and guidance, and ensure information is accessible on the ACE website and intranet. The post is permanent, 35 hours per week, with flexible and hybrid working.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with the Senior Manager Development Initiatives Operations and International team to ensure effective operation of the Global Talent visa and Exceptional Promise scheme
• Ensuring that all applications are eligibility checked, assessed, and processed in accordance with programme rules and requirements, communicating decisions clearly and timely
• Communicating with relevant area staff for discipline-specific information and advice during assessment and endorsement review
• Reviewing and updating policy, procedures and application guidance; ensuring material is accurate and accessible on ACE and Home Office sites
• Conducting endorsement reviews and communicating decisions externally in line with service standards
• Supporting administration and data reporting
• Contributing to continuous improvement of procedures and ways of working
• Working with Customer Services to provide accurate, timely advisory responses to applicants
• Contributing to the organisation’s commitment to diversity and its implications for the arts and culture
