Job Description:

The Role:

One of the largest Commercial Real Estate companies is seeking a Global Sustainability Manager to work with a major client in the Banking sector. The role focuses on environmental strategies including zero carbon and zero waste initiatives, environmental reporting, compliance, audits, and supporting social value and responsible business projects.

Responsibilities:

• Drive zero carbon and zero waste strategies
• Lead quarterly and annual environmental reporting
• Refine environmental metrics and KPIs with Responsible Business Leads
• Analyze environmental KPIs to inform action plans
• Create engagement campaigns for responsible business
• Conduct internal and supply chain audits for environmental compliance
• Manage external accreditations and awards
• Support EMS management related to ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 certifications

Qualifications:

• Operational and corporate experience in waste, water management, biodiversity, air quality, energy, and carbon footprinting
• Experience in Facilities Management, Construction, or Energy sectors
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Data analytics and validation experience
• Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 management systems
• Knowledge of non-financial reporting legislation
• Member of related associations (e.g., IEMA)
• Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or related field
• Experience in environmental training and certifications
