What You'll Do:

As a Global Supply Chain Planner, you will connect corporate and regional operations, acting as the critical link between the Business, Operations, and Supply Chain groups. You will be accountable for developing and delivering strategic supply plans to meet business needs in the 3-to-24-month horizon. You must anticipate and address capacity constraints, develop supply risk mitigation plans, and coordinate the responses from the various supply regions.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Understand the demand signal and ensure supply is available to support the sales targets of the business.
  • Determining, reviewing, and analyzing Supply Plans (3 to 24 months) to define whether the demand plan can be met while taking into consideration resource constraints (labor, materials, and equipment), as well as tolling considerations.
  • Effectively communicate opportunities and constraints with the Operations team and thoroughly investigate all options prior to making final supply decisions.
  • Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies through initiatives such as pre-building inventory, and/or adjusting sourcing or constraints.
  • Lead strategic sourcing decisions, 3 to 24 months. Assist in discovering which materials and where globally the business supported needs to be successful; develop supply plan ideas to achieve results. This may include tolling of materials.
  • Support new product launches by developing the supply strategy for the new products and intermediates. The activity includes feasibility analysis, costing estimation, and sourcing determination.
  • Optimize the global inventory and capacity utilization of the supply network.
  • Develop and maintain inventory strategies to balance stock levels and ensure optimal inventory turns.

Skills That Make a Difference:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations management, or a related field. A master's degree considered a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in master production scheduling, supply planning preferably. Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is considered as a plus.
  • CPIM certification is and added value.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, capacity planning, and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in using scheduling software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively at all levels of the Organization.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a focus on accuracy
