About the role:

The Supply Chain Planner aligns company efforts to meet customer needs efficiently. They review demand plans, monitor production, allocate inventory to global distribution centers, and rebalance inventories to ensure timely usage.

Your key duties and responsibilities:

  1. Manage supply for assigned products to meet customer service goals and inventory targets.
  2. Allocate products to market distribution centers based on manufacturing notifications and raise purchase orders accordingly. Replenish satellite DCs and rebalance inventories as needed.
  3. Support inter-company markets and Customer Service with supply information for backorders, low stock, new business, tenders, and launches.
  4. Communicate potential back-order risks or overstock issues to manufacturing plants.
  5. Align priorities with manufacturing and commercial teams when supply is less than demand.
  6. Collaborate with suppliers for new product launches, including forecasting, manufacturing, and master data setup.
  7. Participate in supply chain project teams.
  8. Resolve shipping discrepancies, invoicing errors, and damage claims with manufacturing plants and distribution centers, updating master data to prevent future issues.

Skills & Experience:

  1. Minimum 5+ years in Supply Chain, preferably in a regulated industry.
  2. Effective communication skills across diverse audiences and formats.
  3. Critical thinking and process-oriented mindset.
  4. Strong collaboration, influence, and relationship-building skills.
  5. Proactive problem-solving approach.
  6. Ability to work independently on complex issues and meet tight deadlines.
  7. Excellent listening and influencing skills.
  8. Advanced Excel skills required; Power BI experience preferred.

Qualifications/Education:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Operations.
  2. Supply Chain certification preferred.

Travel Requirements:

  • Occasional travel up to 10%, including international trips, with overnight stays.

Working Conditions:

  • Based in Deeside or London with a hybrid work model.
  • Global collaboration may require awareness of different time zones. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work.
