Job summary

Molex is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Global Supplier Quality team. You will drive supplier excellence, improve quality performance, and collaborate with international manufacturing partners to build a world-class, zero-defect supply chain.

You will lead data-driven improvements, audits, root cause investigations, and documentation (PPAPs, FMEAs, Control Plans) while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure supplier readiness and delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Quality or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering or quality environments.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience conducting supplier audits and managing supplier quality performance.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with structured root cause methodologies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyse and improve supplier quality performance using data-driven methodologies.
• Lead supplier improvement activities using Lean, Six Sigma and DMAIC principles.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Drive root cause investigations and corrective actions to prevent recurring quality issues.
• Support supplier selection, qualification and ongoing performance monitoring.
• Manage supplier quality documentation including PPAPs, FMEAs, Control Plans and qualification records.
• Support new product introduction activities and supplier readiness for production.
• Partner with global cross-functional teams to identify and implement best practices.
• Coach and influence suppliers and internal stakeholders to achieve quality and delivery objectives.
