Job summary

Molex is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join its Global Supplier Quality team. You will drive supplier excellence, improve quality performance, and collaborate with international manufacturing partners to develop a world-class supply chain focused on continuous improvement and zero defects.

You will work across Quality, Procurement, Operations and Engineering to enhance supplier performance, strengthen systems and promote operational excellence throughout the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Engineering, Quality or related technical discipline.
• Significant experience in manufacturing, engineering or quality environments.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience conducting supplier audits and managing supplier quality performance.
• Excellent problem-solving using structured root cause methodologies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management with the ability to influence at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyse and improve supplier quality performance using data-driven methodologies.
• Lead supplier improvement activities using Lean, Six Sigma and DMAIC principles.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Drive root cause investigations and corrective actions to prevent recurring quality issues.
• Support supplier selection, qualification and ongoing performance monitoring.
• Manage supplier quality documentation including PPAPs, FMEAs, Control Plans and qualification records.
• Support new product introduction activities and supplier readiness for production.
• Partner with global cross-functional teams to identify and implement best practices.
• Coach and influence suppliers and internal stakeholders to achieve quality and delivery objectives.
