Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a results-driven Continuous Improvement professional to lead supplier-focused initiatives in regulated manufacturing environments. You will drive cost, quality and schedule improvements through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, building training frameworks and readiness for future production needs.

The role requires travel to suppliers, both domestic and international, with a strong track record delivering CI projects. BPSS and DBS checks are prerequisites for this position.

Qualifications

• Exposure to regulated or highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Manufacturing Continuous Improvement experience.
• Lean / Six Sigma qualification.
• Proven delivery of Continuous Improvement projects.
• Manufacturing background.
• Experience working within regulated industries.
• Successful completion of BPSS clearance.
• Satisfactory completion of a DBS check.
• Satisfactory completion of a basic financial probity check.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with suppliers to improve manufacturing processes and assess supplier readiness and maturity.
• Develop supplier continuous improvement capability.
• Create frameworks and readiness programmes for future production requirements.
• Deliver supplier training and improvement plans and frameworks.
• Build future capability for cost, quality and schedule improvements.
• Report to the Continuous Improvement Manager.
• Travel regularly to suppliers.
• Undertake international travel depending on supplier activity.
