Job summary

ICON is seeking a Global Study Manager to lead delivery of Cell Therapy studies from protocol development to close-out. You will work with internal teams, CROs and external vendors to ensure on-time, within-budget execution at the highest quality and compliance standards.

The role focuses on innovative programmes including cardiovascular trials, requiring proactive, collaborative work in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, Biological Sciences or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in clinical research, pharma development, biotech or CRO.
• Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP and global trial regulations.
• Proactive and able to work in global cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented Global Study Manager to support the delivery of Cell Therapy global clinical studies from protocol development through study close-out and archiving.

Working as part of a cross-functional global study team, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders, CROs, and external vendors to ensure studies are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and compliance standards. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to support innovative programmes, including global cardiovascular clinical trials focused on advancing treatments for patients with cardiovascular disease.

About You

• Degree qualified in Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, Biological Sciences, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in clinical research, pharmaceutical development, biotechnology, or a CRO environment.

• Strong understanding of clinical development and the drug development process.

• Excellent knowledge of ICH-GCP and global clinical trial regulations.

• Proven project management and organisational skills.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Experience working effectively within global, cross-functional teams.

• Previous experience supporting cardiovascular clinical trials is highly desirable.

• Proactive, collaborative, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
