ICON plc seeks a Global Study Manager for CVRM to support global clinical studies from protocol development through study completion. Remote role based in the United Kingdom, you will coordinate with CROs and vendors to ensure timely, compliant delivery.

You will work with cross-functional international teams on cardiovascular trials, manage milestones, apply ICH-GCP guidelines, and drive quality while balancing timelines and budgets in a dynamic environment.

Formación

• Must have 3+ years of global trial management experience
• Strong understanding of clinical development and drug development processes
• Excellent knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and global clinical trial regulations
• Proven ability to manage global, cross-functional teams

Description

• Support global clinical studies from protocol development through study completion and archiving.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, Contract Research Organisations (CROs), and external vendors worldwide.
• Ensure clinical trials are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
• Support innovative clinical research programmes, including global cardiovascular trials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional international teams to deliver clinical research objectives.

Requirements

• Degree in Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, Biological Sciences, or a related field.
• Must be based in the UK and have the legal right to work in the country where the role is based.
• At least 3 years of global trial management experience in clinical research, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or a CRO environment.
• Strong understanding of clinical development and the drug development process.
• Excellent knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and global clinical trial regulations.
• Proven project management, organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working effectively with global, cross-functional teams.
• Previous experience supporting cardiovascular clinical trials is highly desirable.
• Proactive, collaborative, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
