Job summary

Columbia Threadneedle Investments is seeking a finance professional to support statutory accounts, regulatory submissions and board reporting for multiple entities across EMEA/APAC. You will ensure IFRS/UK GAAP compliance, manage audits, and collaborate with internal and overseas teams.

The role focuses on controllership and financial reporting, requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver multiple reports under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA or MAAT with relevant experience.
• Strong IFRS/UK GAAP knowledge.
• Experience preparing financial statements and regulatory submissions.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables under tight deadlines.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual statutory financial statements for a defined subset of Group entities.
• Ensure IFRS, UK GAAP, and applicable overseas GAAP compliance.
• Manage end-to-end reporting, documentation, audit support, and timely submission.
• Liaise with external auditors to provide required information and respond to queries.
• Prepare UK/regulatory submissions and support overseas regulatory reporting processes.
• Draft quarterly board papers summarizing key points from statutory accounts for board approval.
• Complete SOX-compliant balance sheet reconciliations and maintain proper documentation.
• Collaborate with Controllership and overseas finance teams on processes and projects.
