Babcock is seeking a Commercial Manager for its Rosyth site, offering hybrid working and a full-time role. You will drive commercial strategy for UK and international opportunities across advanced manufacturing, civil nuclear, and shipbuilding, supporting bids through to contract award.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable commercial or contract management experience within a complex engineering, manufacturing, infrastructure, defence, or similarly regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of commercial principles, contractual risk management, and different forms of commercial agreements.
• Experience supporting bids, tenders, contract negotiations, or business growth activities.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple functions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver against demanding customer and governance deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Developing commercial strategies for new UK and international business opportunities.
• Supporting bids and tenders from pre-sales engagement through to submission, negotiation, and contract award.
• Reviewing and negotiating contracts, agreements, and commercial terms to achieve successful outcomes.
• Identifying, assessing, and mitigating commercial and contractual risks across a varied portfolio.
• Building strong working relationships with customers, partners, suppliers, and stakeholders across the business.
