About the role:

The Global Share Plans Senior Manager leads the implementation of the Shares & Deferred Awards agenda, managing operational delivery of employee share plans and deferred awards for Aberdeen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure share awards meet legal and regulatory standards.
  • Manage relationships with plan administrators and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams like Finance, Treasury, Payroll, Legal, HR, and Company Secretariat.
  • Oversee project activities, grants, vesting, reporting, and data requests.
  • Lead and develop the share plans team.
  • Ensure processes and governance support compliance and improvement.
  • Benchmark and analyze market best practices.
  • Coordinate with Global Mobility to manage globally mobile employees’ equity.

About the candidate:

  • Strong communication skills and influencing ability.
  • Knowledge of employee schemes, legal, tax, and operational aspects.
  • Experience with global awards like nil-cost options, phantom awards, etc.
  • Up-to-date regulatory knowledge across jurisdictions.
  • Proven project management and team leadership skills.
  • Results-oriented with strong data analytics skills.
