EMEA Service Engineer - Combustion/Flares

Client

Our client is a well-established global manufacturer of power generation, turbines, and combustion systems serving industries such as Marine, Petrochemical, Waste to Energy, Hospitals, Education, Offshore Oil & Gas, Power Generation, etc. Their comprehensive product range has earned them an excellent reputation worldwide, with products/services utilized in over 100 countries. We are proud to support their ongoing expansion by providing suitable staff to join their team.

The ROLE

Mana is proud to act on behalf of our client in their search for an exceptional International Field Service Engineer to work within the oil and gas industry. This role involves significant international travel, often at short notice, with approximately 200 days away per year. When not traveling, you will be based at home. Your responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking on-site maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Starting-up and commissioning new combustion systems on-site
  • Preparing RAMs
  • Working with PLCs
  • Conducting plant surveys
  • Training client staff
  • Identifying aftermarket opportunities
  • Working with combustion products and systems including burners, thermal oxidizers, flare systems, and pollution control equipment

The CANDIDATE

The successful Multi-skilled Service Engineer will be a professional with experience in a similar environment, eager to build a career within a market-leading organization. Requirements include:

  • Proficiency as a multi-skilled Mechanical/Electrical Engineer
  • Good understanding of P&IDs
  • Knowledge of PLCs
  • Experience with combustion or petrochemical/oil & gas backgrounds is advantageous
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, or chemical field experience
  • Willingness to travel abroad up to 200 nights per year
  • Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and offshore
  • Well-presented with excellent customer-facing skills
