Job summary

UCB is seeking a Senior Expert in Real-World Evidence for Special Patient Populations to lead global RWE programs, especially focusing on women of childbearing age, pediatric, and elderly groups. Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Epidemiology, Health Economics, Biostatistics, Data Science, Public Health, or a related field.
• At least 6 years designing, leading, and delivering real-world evidence studies in pharma, biotech, consulting, or academia.
• Experience using primary and secondary healthcare data to generate evidence for clinical, regulatory, medical, or commercial decisions.
• Strong expertise in epidemiology, outcomes research, observational study design, and quantitative methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of global real-world evidence studies spanning research, regulatory, medical, and market access.
• Develop evidence-generation strategies for special populations including women of childbearing age, pediatric, and older adults.
• Deliver rigorous observational research programs using real-world data and prospective data collection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify evidence needs across disease burden and patient care pathways.
• Translate study findings into actionable insights for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Partner with external experts and data providers to advance innovative evidence-generation approaches.
• Shape long-term evidence strategies for priority assets and leverage new data sources and AI approaches.
• Serve as a trusted scientific advisor promoting robust methodologies and evidence-based decisions.
