Job summary

Concern Worldwide seeks a Security Advisor to strengthen safety and security practices across three regions. You will support risk analysis, incident reporting, and the development of security plans in collaboration with country teams and regional desks.

The role requires experience in insecure environments and the ability to travel up to 120 days annually. Based in London or Belfast, the post offers a pay band with defined progression and a hybrid working arrangement.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Fluent spoken and written English; French is advantageous.
• Experience in security management within humanitarian settings.
• Proven ability to deliver training and build staff capacity.

Responsibilities

• Undertake security reviews and audits of countries’ safety management practices.
• Develop contextual knowledge to support country risk analysis.
• Deliver security management training to staff and partners.
• Coordinate with country teams to prepare and respond to security incidents.
