Job summary

Concern Worldwide seeks a Security Advisor to strengthen safety and security management across three regions. You will undertake security reviews, support risk assessments, and coordinate with country teams and regional desks to protect staff and operations.

The role requires degree-level education, five years’ experience in insecure environments for humanitarian work, fluent English and French (preferred), plus strong training and incident reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Minimum five years’ humanitarian security experience.
• Fluent English; French proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Undertake security reviews and risk assessments for country programmes.
• Develop contextual knowledge to support security analysis.
• Deliver security training to staff and partners.
• Develop and review Security Management Plans and SOPs.
• Prepare advisories and incident briefings as required.
• Maintain and analyze security incident data in SIRT.
