Job summary

Options Resourcing Ltd in Smethwick is recruiting a Sales and Commercial Coordinator to quote and process orders, liaise with the CEO and sales teams, and coordinate with Production, Technical, Purchasing and Aftersales. This role will support UK and international customers and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in sales administration, commercial coordination, customer service, order processing or a similar office-based role.
• Experience preparing quotations and/or processing customer orders.
• Strong IT skills and confidence using digital systems.
• Experience using CRM systems would be advantageous.
• Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, particularly with pricing, specifications and delivery information.
• A practical, common-sense approach to problem solving.
• The confidence to work independently and take ownership of workload.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and progressing customer quotations, including pricing and product specifications.
• Supporting the Sales team with customer enquiries and opportunities.
• Processing and coordinating customer orders from enquiry through to delivery.
• Ensuring commercial and technical information is accurate and complete.
• Liaising with Production, Technical, Purchasing and Aftersales teams.
• Supporting international customers, including freight quotations and shipping arrangements.
• Maintaining accurate CRM records and ensuring enquiries and quotations are followed up.
• Monitoring opportunities and making sure actions are completed.
• Supporting senior management with commercial priorities and new opportunities.
• Building strong relationships with customers and providing a professional, responsive service.
