Job summary

Immunocore seeks a Director Safety Physician, Global Patient Safety, a physician with robust medical and scientific expertise in clinical medicine, safety evaluation, and pharmacovigilance. You will lead proactive risk assessments, drive advanced signal detection, and shape safety profiles for Immunocore’s products, ensuring compliance with global regulations.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree with pharmacovigilance experience.
• Minimum three years of pharmacovigilance and two years of clinical experience post licensure.
• Experience with safety data collection and regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities

• Drive safety surveillance and benefit–risk assessment across product lifecycle.
• Lead signal detection, data analysis from trials, post-marketing, and real-world data.
• Shape safety strategies, labelling, and risk management plans.
• Provide medical leadership for case safety review and regulatory responses.
• Guide vendors and internal teams on safety data collection and evaluation.
• Oversee safety sections of regulatory submissions (DSURs, PBRERs, RMPs).
• Lead Safety Management Team and cross-functional safety governance.
