Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Principal Risk Consultant/Manager to deliver risk consulting assignments and lead small projects within a large, multi-disciplinary firm. You will contribute to developing the risk management practice across UK offices and globally.

The role involves presenting client deliverables, coaching juniors, and expanding services while collaborating with risk professionals across sectors and geographies.

Qualifications

• Expertise in all aspects of project, programme, and business risk management facilitation.
• Experience building cost, schedule, and business risk models using ARM, Primavera Risk Analyser, Safran Risk, Predict, and Xactium.
• Able to explain the results of risk assessments to non-specialists.
• Knowledge of risk management techniques and project control processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage effective risk management services on projects and/or workstreams within larger projects, drawing on input from Associates/Directors.
• Lead on the development and presentation of client risk management deliverables; engaging effectively with stakeholders to mitigate threats and utilise opportunities.
• Support project leaders in the successful delivery of the project.
• Coach more junior members of the team.
• Work as part of the team to develop and expand WSP Risk Management service offering.
• Embed and share knowledge and best practice.
• Build professional networks to support business development activities.
