Job summary

Taylor & Francis Books Division is seeking a Rights Executive to join the very active Global Rights Team. Reporting into the Rights Manager, the Rights Executive will be responsible for maximising revenue by licensing content from all our Taylor & Francis Book content.

This role is offered on a maternity contract basis of 9-12 months. It will involve regular attendance (3 days per week) at our office in Milton Park, Oxfordshire (OX14) , along with international travel to book fairs and to visit

Qualifications

• Experience in audio and digital licencing is essential.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to negotiate and close a sale with understanding of commercial terms and print solutions.
• Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication via email or Teams.
• Agile and inquisitive approach to problem solving, collaborative mindset.
• Strong attention to detail and discipline in maintaining records on sales systems.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, results-driven, and a real team player.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow rights revenue by implementing a sales strategy across specified territories.
• Build strong partnerships with international publishers, agents and internal teams.
• Develop product knowledge to market titles, focusing on digital and audio licensing opportunities.
• Analyse sales and territory trends and monitor competitor activity.
• Represent the company at book fairs and during territory sales trips.
• Follow best practices and keep the rights management database up to date.
