Job summary

The Economist Group is hiring a senior Reward Partner to lead core reward processes, analytics, job architecture and benchmarking across a global organisation. You will advise People Partners, manage incentive plans and ensure governance aligned with policy and affordability.

The role requires strong analytical and stakeholder skills, experience with global reward practices and a hybrid working pattern in a large media group.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a specialist Reward or Compensation role within a global, complex organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation, incentive plans and reward programme delivery.
  • Experience using the WTW Global Grading Framework or a comparable job evaluation methodology.
  • Proven experience conducting market benchmarking and salary analysis.
  • Advanced analytical and modelling skills, including strong Excel/Google Sheets capability.
  • Experience managing reward data and People information.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of executive compensation and long-term incentive plans.
  • Experience using HR systems, HiBob preferable but not essential
  • Familiarity with pay legislation and global reward trends.

Responsibilities

  • Project-manage the annual delivery of core reward processes, including compensation reviews and incentives.
  • Coordinate reward activities across multiple business areas with governance and timelines.
  • Support administration and implementation of executive and employee incentive plans.
  • Ensure reward programmes align with policy, governance and affordability.
  • Act as a trusted reward advisor to People Partners on compensation, benchmarking and policy.
  • Develop and maintain the job architecture and conduct external market benchmarking.
  • Produce reward analytics and models for budgeting and decision-making.
  • Manage reward data across People systems and ensure data integrity.
  • Lead or support reward-related projects and monitor market trends.
