Job summary

The School of Computing at the University of Kent in Canterbury is inviting applications for a Research Associate to contribute to projects HEROES and ALUNA. You will participate in research activities, collaborate with PIs and partners, and stay up-to-date with relevant literature.

The role requires a strong background in computer science, ML, and programming. The department highlights a supportive, diverse environment with flexible working options for staff.

Qualifications

• BSc (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related field.
• MSc and/or PhD, or equivalent experience in Computing or related discipline.
• Experience with programming languages (Python, Java, C/C++).
• Experience with Machine Learning, CNN models.

Responsibilities

• Meet the objectives of the relevant project work packages under the direction of the PI(s).
• Support the research of other team members under PI guidance.
• Engage with progress meetings with project partners and scholars to share updates.
