Vantage seeks a senior leader to create and head a new fleetwide reliability and technical assurance function. The role provides governance, performance visibility, and risk management across a growing data center portfolio, with executive sponsorship and a dedicated team.

The successful candidate will shape standards, drive continuous improvement, and deliver customer-focused risk mitigation across regions, partnering with operations, reliability engineering, and cybersecurity.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in mission-critical operations, reliability engineering, operational assurance, or similar high-reliability environments.
• Experience leading reliability and assurance across a large operating fleet.
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, controls, automation, commissioning, and maintenance environments.
• Experience investigating incidents, near misses, defects, or systemic reliability issues and translating findings into corrective actions.
• Ability to operate through influence in a matrixed organization and challenge senior leaders.
• Executive-level communication: concise risk narratives and decision-ready papers.
• Global travel up to 30–40% and increasing over time.

Responsabilités

• Establish the fleetwide reliability baseline and risk model.
• Lead technical assurance, inspection, and critical control verification across disciplines.
• Drive corrective action and closed-loop learning from incidents and near misses.
• Foster transparent reporting and accountable learning across regions.
• Develop the roadmap for configuration and automation drift detection; partner with IT, Product, and Cybersecurity.
• Establish executive reporting and governance with clear KPIs and portfolio visibility.
• Build and lead the function with a dedicated budget and direct team, while coordinating with a broader assurance network.
• Handle additional duties as assigned by management.
