Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC is seeking a Control Manager (Associate) to lead embedded controls across design, construction, and vendor risk for global real estate programs, including our new London headquarters. You’ll partner with risk, compliance, audit, and operations to protect people, partners, and investments throughout the project lifecycle—from design through execution and implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and significant experience in financial services focused on controls, audit, quality assurance, risk management, or compliance.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across complex projects.
• Ability to understand end-to-end processes and associated risks to inform effective control design.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with confidence engaging stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data and draw sound conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess the operational risk and control environment for design and construction and vendor risk management.
• Administer end-to-end issue and action plans; identify root causes and develop strategies to address recurring themes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate risk and control environment, identify gaps, and implement solutions.
• Design control activities with business leaders, including measuring project controls effectiveness and change management workflows.
• Follow up with stakeholders to ensure regulatory, audit, compliance issues are resolved.
• Form cross-functional partnerships to drive integrated risk management across major projects and regional operations.
• Engage with colleagues across operations, legal, compliance, risk, audit, regulators, and technology control functions.
• Report metrics, trends, and root causes to leadership; track remediation and validation to closure.
• Promote a culture of control excellence by sharing best practices and driving continuous improvement.
