As the Global R&D Manager you will be developing and implementing the global innovation strategy; driving process improvements and harnessing future technologies.
Here you’ll be joining a global FMCG business in a high-profile, influential leadership role.
As part of a talented and highly motivated R&D team, you’ll be leading projects across innovation, deployment, sustainability, developing future technologies and technical capabilities. You’ll have a global remit, working cross-functionally and leading an international team.
The role offers a huge spectrum of opportunity and the chance to build experience in a global leadership role. With double digit growth and strong growth ambitions, this business continues to invest into R&D to deliver further innovation to market.
You’ll be developing and implementing the global innovation strategy with a focus on process development and global deployment across the entire portfolio of brands. Being adept at engaging and influencing across all levels and regions is key to success here. We are looking for a strong people leader able to develop their team and form strong working partnerships across the business.
You’ll need extensive R&D experience in FMCG with a proven track record in team leadership and stakeholder management across a multi-site operation. A strong project/programme manager, you’ll have successfully delivered complex innovation projects including process optimisation and deployment. Previous experience in an international role would be advantageous but not essential.
The role offers hybrid working with 2-3 days a week at site in Yorkshire and international travel every 6-8 weeks on average.
