Job summary

Clifford Chance is seeking a senior proposals professional to lead global bid activities within the Project Development & Finance area. The role focuses on strategic, multi‑jurisdictional proposals and close collaboration with partners, lawyers and BD colleagues to convert opportunities.

You will work in a hybrid model with a broad remit across Europe, delivering high‑quality, client‑focused proposals and driving efficiency in the pitch process while coaching junior colleagues and sharing best

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in competitive proposals and pitches.
• Experience working across international, regional, and local contexts.
• Senior level experience in a partnership environment.
• Proven ability to build relationships with senior management.
• Proven ability to lead staff at all levels and delegate effectively.
• Maintaining a high degree of professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Global Proposals function aligned to Project Development & Finance.
• Manage end-to-end proposal process and be the central point of contact on opportunities.
• Provide coaching and support across the proposal life cycle to stakeholders.
• Draft, review and edit pitch documents to create client-centric propositions.
• Train lawyers and BD teams in proposal best practices and tools.
• Support cross-border, multi-jurisdictional proposals and win/loss reviews.
