Job Description:

Global Project Lead – Clinical Software Deployment: On-Premise Enterprise Software

Location: UK – London (commutable)

Employment: Contract, 12-month contract with potential to extend

This is a fixed-term contract for a highly experienced professional to transform and standardise the Company's software deployment strategy.

  • Work with key stakeholders across the organisation to evaluate the current deployment approach across the software portfolio, with a priority focus on their latest solution.
  • Using best practice industry standards, make recommendations on how they can evolve their product deployment strategy and processes to deploy software into clinical environments in a simplified, efficient and consistent manner with short-term quick wins and longer-term transformational changes.
  • Acting as a consultant to their engineering teams to advise on and support enterprise software deployment improvements.

About the Company:

They are a successful and innovative company that is a leading manufacturer of state-of-the-art Radiotherapy Technologies. This is a rare opportunity to work in a company that is truly innovating in the market.

You will be a part of a current project in the company to change and improve their process of on-premise Enterprise Software Deployment, impacting thousands of hospitals worldwide that treat millions of patients every year. This is a true change management role, with the company wanting a fresh pair of eyes, new thinking, adventurous ideas and winning strategies to not only benefit their existing customers, but to also provide a potential benefit vs. competitors.

Is this for you?

If having an impact on how Cancer is treated is important to you, then it’s a YES!

This could be an ideal move for someone working in Radiotherapy, Radiology or the Medical Devices Sector, and has experience with Enterprise Software Deployment to clinics already.

Alternatively, this could also be an amazing segue for someone in another sector who wants to be involved in healthcare. Someone who is used to having a global impact and understands how important software is in the process. Sectors such as Security, Aviation, Finance and other sectors where software deployment carries huge responsibility for the improvement of processes, but most importantly, safety, will be an ideal proving ground.

If you are the right person, you will know that your background translates well into clinical software deployment.

Why This Role is Your Next Big Move:

Firstly, you must be based in the LONDON area and have the right to work in the UK.

Secondly, you must also have a proven track record in Global Software Deployment at a Senior Level, with a Project Lead/Change Manager Background.

Finally, you must be interested in Radiotherapy, but you don't necessarily need to be experienced in Radiotherapy.

These are prerequisites!

If you have already ticked those boxes, then here is what is on offer:

  • The ability to operate in a clinical and commercial environment simultaneously.
  • The chance to work with innovative cutting-edge equipment and software, new to the market.
  • Hybrid working - Working from home, in the international offices and on customer sites to help understand the problems, come up with ideas, build a plan and roll it out.
  • Opportunity to be visible in an organisation - Direct contact with senior leaders in the company to help you grow.
  • Learn from the best in the industry - Some of the greatest minds in Radiotherapy are clients of this company, and you will be using their equipment daily.
  • Make a real difference in the treatment of patients and the development of radiotherapy… globally!
  • Be part of a great company culture, a truly international family that always puts patient care first.

About You:

  • You have a technical background in systems and software deployment, perhaps gained in Radiotherapy, Imaging, Security, or complex data systems.
  • You enjoy using your networking skills, understanding customer needs and learning new products quickly.
  • You have a supportive mentality, always hunting for new ideas, keen to connect with stakeholders, build relationships, and provide solutions.
  • You value honesty and integrity in everything that you do.
  • You are a self-starter who works with teams to get the best out of them.
  • You want to be in a solid, stable environment with the opportunity to learn from the best.
  • You want to work in a commercial organisation within the healthcare sector that is doing something exciting.
  • You want to have ownership of a hugely visible project and take responsibility for its progress.
  • You have relevant experience with enterprise software deployments such as SAP, Oracle or EMRs such as EPIC, Cerner etc.
  • You have extensive expertise in taking enterprise software payloads from on-premises to public cloud platforms.
  • You must be able to travel to various office locations, including UK, USA and China.

Ready to Take the Next Step?

If you're ready to embrace a new challenge that truly involves change, we want to hear from you. Apply today and become a key player in shaping the future of radiotherapy.
