Job summary

Bekaert, a global group with a Dundee operation, seeks a Project Support Engineer to back the Project Manager across documentation, design liaison and supplier coordination. The role anchors project execution within a dynamic, cross-functional team in Scotland.

The candidate should hold a Mechanical Engineering degree with 3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in MS Office is essential; Solidworks experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Experience with sub-suppliers is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed support to the Project Manager and coordinate with suppliers, design teams, clients and resources.
• Develop standard and project-specific specifications (materials, QA, data sheets).
• Coordinate ITT processes and support during clarifications.
• Oversee supplier identification, procurement, expediting and qualification.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental requirements at sub-supplier locations.
• Follow up manufacturing activities and witness inspections as needed.
