Job summary

The University of Manchester is recruiting a Project Officer – International Programmes to help develop and launch a high-profile international programme in September 2028. Based in the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health, you will coordinate activity across teams, monitor progress, and support decision-making with international partners.

You will work with academic and Professional Services colleagues to ensure operational readiness, governance, and delivery across multiple workstreams,

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating project workstreams.
• Experience maintaining project documentation and records.
• Experience supporting programme development and operational readiness.
• Ability to organise governance meetings and prepare reports.
• Experience monitoring progress and risks.
• Ability to support change management activity.
• Strong collaboration skills with academic, Professional Services, and international partners.

Responsibilities
