Job summary

Human Appeal invites an experienced finance leader to head Global Programme Finance from our base in Cheadle, Manchester. You will drive financial governance, donor compliance, and cross‑border operations across multiple country offices.

We seek a senior professional with a track record in INGOs, ERP implementations, and building high‑performing international teams. Strong collaboration with Global Programme teams and SMT is essential.

Qualifications

Professional accounting qualification and degree in finance or accounting.
10+ years’ post‑qualification experience with significant leadership roles.
Deep understanding of donor financial compliance, project accounting, and cross‑border finance operations.
Experience with ERP/system implementation and large-scale financial transformations.

Responsibilities

Lead global programme finance operations and financial governance.
Oversee budgets, reporting, and audits for field offices and country offices.
Collaborate with Internal Audit, IT, and Programme teams; support capacity building.
