Job summary

Bramwith Consulting is assisting a global chemicals organisation in Northampton to appoint a Global Procurement Business Partner. The role will bridge regional and central procurement, shaping strategy and ensuring execution across Europe.

You will partner with senior leaders, drive governance, and lead procurement transformation within a matrix structure, delivering value and risk management across locations.

Qualifications

• Strong procurement leadership and business partnering experience.
• Experience operating across multiple countries, sites or business units.
• Excellent stakeholder management, able to influence senior leadership.
• Experience translating procurement strategies into operational delivery.
• Strong commercial capability identifying savings and value.
• Experience driving procurement governance and compliance.
• Strong change management and procurement transformation experience.
• Ability to navigate competing priorities across Category Management, Procurement and operations.
• Experience in global matrix structures with cross-location alignment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with regional and country leadership to understand priorities.
• Interface between European operations and global Procurement.
• Translate global strategies into regional execution.
• Provide regional insight to inform wider strategy.
• Drive consistency in processes, governance and ways of working.
• Improve procurement compliance and adoption of preferred suppliers.
• Identify opportunities to consolidate fragmented spend.
• Strengthen supplier performance and risk management.
• Support implementation of new procurement systems and processes.
• Align local purchasing with global function and leadership.
• Lead and develop procurement capability in regional organisation.
