Global Category Manager - Soft FM - £65,000 to £75,000 | 10% bonus, company car + full corporate benefits | Based out of either London, Warwickshire or Hampshire

This is an exciting opportunity to join a market-leading, truly global business with diverse operations.

They are seeking an experienced Category Manager with extensive expertise in Soft FM spend areas, focusing on managing large, complex projects.

The group function is undergoing a transformation, expanding its scope, offering continuous opportunities for progression.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Report to the Head of Global Procurement - Facilities Management, within a sizable team of colleagues at various levels.
• Develop, design, and improve category strategies continuously.
• Manage end-to-end sourcing within designated spend areas using a strategic approach.
• Collaborate with senior business leaders to develop category strategies and planning.
• Provide ongoing advice to stakeholders on market trends, innovations, and supplier market insights.
• Manage and understand both regulated and unregulated complex projects.
• Ensure strategic procurement delivers the best commercial value for the business.

Experience Required:

• Extensive category management experience in Soft FM.
• Experience in categories such as waste, security, and landscaping procurement is desirable.
• Proven strategic category management in a large, complex organization.
• Track record of delivering savings in similar-sized businesses.
• Ability to engage, negotiate, and influence senior stakeholders up to Board Level.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, adaptable to different relationship types and levels.
• Experience working in a large, cross-functional procurement team.
• MCIPS qualification is a plus but not essential.
