Global Procurement Generalist (98673) London, England

Salary: GBP85000 - GBP85000 per annum + 5% bonus

Location: London – Tower Place WEST (Hybrid – 3 days per week in office)

Working days/hours: Monday – Friday (35 hours per week)

Candidate Profile

Required Experience: Approximately 10 years of solid procurement and sourcing experience, preferably as a generalist across various categories such as Design & Construction, Real Estate, Food Services, Vehicles, and Maintenance.

Preferred Background: Experience working for multinational or global organizations, with a background in professional services at a senior level.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Negotiate procurement of goods, services, and supplies to minimize costs and meet business goals.
  2. Develop and implement supply chain strategies addressing capacity issues, production location decisions, etc.
  3. Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and data to determine reasonable prices.
  4. Administer contracts to ensure sourcing goals and acceptable service levels are met.
  5. Research suppliers to meet standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability.
  6. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure capacity and continuity of supply for specific components.
Key Requirements
  1. Extensive Procurement Experience: Proven track record in managing complex negotiations across multiple categories including Food Services, Utilities, Design & Construction, Furniture, Vehicles, Maintenance, and Office Supplies.
  2. Supplier Evaluation and Management: Ability to evaluate and select suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and timing, maintaining strong supplier relationships.
  3. Contract Administration Skills: Skilled in managing contracts aligning with sourcing goals and organizational standards.
  4. Analytical Skills: Expertise in analyzing market data and financial reports to inform procurement strategies and implement long-term supply chain plans.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business growth and innovation.
