Job summary

Smiths Detection's Global Legal Team is seeking a junior Legal Counsel Procurement to accelerate their career in a dynamic in-house environment. You will work directly with the Senior Global Procurement Counsel on a broad range of matters, gaining hands-on experience across procurement, commercial contracts, data protection and facilities.

Qualifications

• Must hold law degree (LLB) or equivalent.
• Strong drafting and negotiation experience in contracts.
• Solid legal research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate procurement and supplier contracts.
• Support procurement teams and internal stakeholders on contractual matters.
• Review and negotiate NDAs, lease and IT agreements.
• Conduct legal research across multiple jurisdictions and support compliance.
• Manage contract workflows and provide practical commercial guidance.
