Heriot Brown In-House Legal Recruitment presents a senior opportunity for a Head of Privacy & DPO within a fast-moving international technology business. You will own the global privacy strategy with autonomy and direct exposure to senior leadership from London.

Reporting to the General Counsel, you will shape privacy practice, influence the board, and partner with product, technology and commercial teams to drive responsible innovation and governance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years PQE as a privacy lawyer with global focus.
• Strong expertise across UK, EU and international data protection laws.
• Background in technology or data-rich consumer businesses.

Responsibilities

• Lead global privacy and data protection strategy.
• Advise on international privacy regulations and data usage for products.
• Collaborate with product, tech, marketing and commercial teams to enable growth.
• Provide strategic advice to senior executives and the Board.
• Oversee privacy governance, compliance and risk management.
• Develop the privacy function as the business evolves.
