Job summary

Vodafone VOIS is seeking an experienced privacy and compliance leader to head CoE Operations in London or Newbury. You will provide expert advisory on privacy and data protection, drive governance across multiple groups, and lead transformation initiatives with senior stakeholders.

You will manage complex programmes, standardize processes and implement technology solutions to ensure regulatory compliance. The role requires deep regulatory knowledge, strategic thinking, and strong people

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of global privacy and data protection regulations.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical operational solutions.
• Proven leadership of large, diverse teams.
• Track record delivering complex programmes in regulated environments.
• Experience driving process optimization, standardization and automation.
• Experience evaluating and implementing legal, privacy and compliance technology solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement across multiple functions.
• Data-literate with analytics and visualization to support decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical advisory on Privacy, Data Protection and Responsible AI.
• Monitor regulatory developments and communicate impacts to senior stakeholders.
• Define and embed group-wide risk mitigation strategies for new regulations and corporate initiatives.
• Develop and maintain privacy-related policies, procedures and risk advisories.
• Simplify, standardise, centralise and automate privacy policies and processes.
• Prepare governance materials for senior committees and risk forums.
• Oversee governance, risk and compliance practices across Cyber, Privacy, Corporate Security and Data Governance.
• Drive delivery of transformation programmes with scope, time and budget.
