Job summary

Monks seeks a fast, flexible Post Producer to manage global post-production projects. You’ll partner with a North American team to deliver advertising content across broadcast, web, and radio, coordinating with editors, sound teams, and producers for timely delivery.

You are a proactive problem solver, organized and technically minded, comfortable in fast-paced environments, and capable of handling multiple projects with a focus on accuracy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Post Producer or equivalent across commercial, digital, and TV/Broadcast.
• Anticipate blockers, coordinate next steps, and provide visibility.
• Deep knowledge of sound mixing, VO recording, and scheduling procedures.
• Hands-on editing and sound know-how; understand post-production workflows.
• Up-to-date with current software, hardware, and post-production solutions.
• Experience with North American deliverables and delivery expectations.

Responsibilities

• You’ll define delivery schedules for projects and secure deadlines.
• You’ll review new requests from clients and internal teams to pinpoint tasks and timelines.
• You’ll build the right team and resource plan for every task.
• You’ll schedule our people and oversee the post-production process end-to-end.
• You’ll brief team members on objectives, priorities, and expectations.
• You’ll facilitate cross-team communication and align on priorities, next steps, dependencies, and ETAs.
• You’ll provide visibility into project status and potential risks.
• You’ll create and maintain charts, schedules, trackers, and tools.
• You’ll work in a process-driven environment with high-volume deliverables.
• You’ll contribute to workflows, improving and iterating them across projects.
• You’ll identify issues, solve problems, and improve efficiency.
• You’ll collaborate with editors, animators, sound teams, and producers to keep projects moving.
