About the role

We have a fabulous opportunity for a dynamic and strategic, results-driven leader to join us as the Global POS Design & Innovation Lead for TMS (Total Marketing Support), a unique and growing division of DS Smith, a renowned packaging and display manufacturing company.

This role is critical to our partnership with one of our largest FMCG customers, where you will lead and drive their strategic growth agenda across key global markets. You will be instrumental in delivering innovative, sustainable, and shopper-centric design and activation solutions. Acting as the lead interface between external senior stakeholders and our internal teams in our key markets (UK&I, Germany & France), you will ensure excellence in execution, strategic alignment, and measurable impact across all in-store marketing and Point-of-Sale (POS) initiatives.

You will be tasked with shaping the ‘Future of POS’ by seamlessly connecting local market insights with central strategy, and directly managing and influencing two Regional POS Design & Innovation Leads. This requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and the ability to package and present sophisticated solutions that drive shopper conversion, sustainability, and efficiency.

About you

  • Demonstrable experience in POS Management, Brand Marketing, or Sales Management, preferably within an FMCG or agency environment
  • Formal business-related qualification or degree in Commerce, Marketing, or Sales Management - desirable
  • Demonstrated strategic leadership with the ability to translate commercial opportunities into effective creative shopper marketing campaigns or plans
  • Comprehensive understanding of Brand/Shopper strategy and the full range of design, engineering, and display fabrication processes
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with experience in interpreting and packaging strategic presentations for senior global stakeholders
  • A results-driven, pragmatic, and service-focused attitude, committed to delivering value and excellence across Sustainability, Design, and Innovation
  • A creative flair with the ability to inject a vibrant character into the role
  • Expert use of Word, PowerPoint, Internet applications, and social media platforms
  • Fluent English is essential, with additional languages being desirable

Location: This is a full time, remote role with frequent travel to sites in Manchester and London as required as well as some travel to European markets (Germany, France, etc)
