Job summary

KLA Corporation is seeking an experienced multidisciplinary engineer to support system operation, integration, calibration, and retrofit activities across semiconductor hardware. You will travel to customer sites for installation, commissioning and technical resolutions, translating requirements into robust design improvements while maintaining high standards of safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Driving license to travel throughout Europe.
• Experience in manufacturing with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Experience in a customer-facing role desirable.
• Understanding of machinery safety and safe working practices.
• Experience diagnosing faults with an analytical mind.
• AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent experience; 3D CAD desirable.
• Good understanding of MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain development and continuous improvement of Platform semiconductor handling hardware.
• Support new hardware designs through build, integration, fault-finding, and PLC readiness.
• Lead installation, commissioning, and technical resolution of new products at customer sites.
• Travel internationally up to 50% to support critical customer engagements.
• Translate customer requirements and factory learnings into design improvements.
• Shape technical responses to customer specifications and system requirements.
• Define robust design specifications aligning customer needs and engineering standards.
• Champion serviceability, reliability and maintainability in new designs.
• Produce clear technical reports to support decision-making and risk management.
